Yes Telecom started out developing a stand-alone CRM application specifically tailored to their needs. The application mainly facilitated the automatic transfer of telecom data from one telecom vendor to another. This made certain customer needs much easier to realize, such as retaining numbers when switching vendors. But building the application from scratch was not the intent. Another option of course would be to go for one of the well-known CRM vendors out there, which offer a lot of modifications and extensions on top of their standardized solutions. Rana Kisoensingh, Director IT & Billing at Yes Telecom puts his view on working with one of these solutions as “…but from

Automating Unit Tests in SAP case study image

Automating Unit Tests in SAP

A large European energy supplier noticed that they were spending a lot of time on manual testing and fixing bugs in their SAP services. On average, they needed a full week to perform this work in their 3-week release cycle. The customer asked DevOn to help automate (part of) the testing process and speed up their software delivery. Based on the assessment, DevOn saw an opportunity to improve the software quality and reduce the time-to-market. Therefore, DevOn created a framework to enable automated Unit Tests in SAP. As a result, the number of bugs was reduced with 65%, 92% less time is being spent on fixing bugs and the customer’s CICD team is now able to roll out this approach to their own teams.
