NEWSLETTER OCTOBER 2017 – September marked the second time Jez Humble, co-author of the Jolt Award winning ‘Continuous Delivery’ and CTO at DevOps Research and Assessment LLC, was a guest at DevOn in Delft. We are proud to announce that he will be Strategic Adviser for DevOn’s Digital Disruption Delivered Strategy.
As Strategic Adviser, Jez will assist DevOn further develop our propositions in the field of Continuous Delivery and DevOps. He will inspire both customers and Technical Consultants on their journey towards becoming the ‘go to’-persons for any technical assistance in the field. And more specifically, he will assist in development of the DevOps assessment, consulting and training portfolio.
Jez Humble has spent his career tinkering with code, infrastructure, product development and consulting in companies of varying sizes across three continents, most recently working for the US Federal Government at 18F. He is co-author of the Jolt Award winning Continuous Delivery, published in Martin Fowler’s Signature Series (Addison Wesley, 2010), Lean Enterprise in Eric Ries’ Lean series (O’Reilly, 2015), and the DevOps Handbook (IT Revolution, 2016).
Rahul Sah, Global CEO of DevOn says “having Jez as a Strategic Adviser will help DevOn with providing strategic solutions for our customers in this new digital era.” With this, he aims to provide digital disruptive delivery to customers in the Netherlands, United Kingdom and India to start.
